The Local Tourist is a class all about acting like a tourist and keeping a travel journal record of it - all without leaving town!
Come with me on a new creative journey from start to finish! I'll be there to guide you through the entire process, from making your own journal, filling it up and even creating your own special ephemera pieces along the way. Jam-packed with techniques, ideas, inspiration, imagination, prompts and printables... this class has it all!
In this class you will learn
to make your very own travel journal with basic supplies, AND fill it up!
Together, we will go step-by-step to create a beautiful, usable and durable travel journal. We will learn together how to act like a tourist in our own town, collect treasures and memories, embark on new adventures and experiences... and then put it all together in our travel journal!
The beauty of this is that we all live in different places, so all of our travel journals will be unique and special to us!
Throughout this adventure, I have explored places I haven't been to before even though they're close to home.. I have learned more about my own community, and I have created special memories and met people I wouldn't have otherwise met!
I've got a new appreciation for the place that I live as I've been able to step into the role of a 'tourist' and have a handful of holiday moments (all without the big expenses and stresses of travelling!)
